Sunshine you sure looked familiar too. When I came back from Canada in March of last year, I worked through the Experienced Works at the Aims Pregnancy Center and then for a short while at the Senior Citizen center until I got on at the YMCA. Before I went to Canada, I worked at Oakwood during 2003-2004. Before that I was in Chesapeake, Va. at Qvc for 15 years. When you went to school at Ferguson, who were some of the kids you were friends with, and what year was your last year there?

Blondie9 : If Redd Ryder was there, or if there was a red Corvette parked outside, that would mean either John or Larry have a lot of explaining to do. Since I got dropped off and picked up by my wife, I'm not one of the suspects.

By the way, you don't need to bring us a photo of Santa. We already have your Santa photo up on the website. You sure were a cute Elf.

Scarlett O'Hara : Go to OutpostUSA.org. Go to History. Go to Atlanta. It will outline your trip for you. When you go to the Restaurant page you'll find the tabs on the menu bar don't work, but just use the arrow at the top of the screen to go back to the previous page, where they do work. All that information is up to date.

Julia, it wasn't any of those places. Maybe it will come to me. The last year I attended school was 1961. Barbara Meece, Sharlene Barnes, Janice Kennedy, Arlene Roy, Betty Smith, Christine Garland, Patricia Fisher were some of the girls. Eldridge LaFavors, Billy Baker, Carl Minton, Steve Turner, Carl Miller, Jimmy Cundiff, Ray Ramsey, Larry Stephens, Sammy Bell and Joe Burns were some of the boys.

Well, we have already brought up everyone and their brother, sister, mother and etc. What do we talk about now? Do we rehash the past or try and think of something that has not been mentioned? I am quiet frankly fresh out of people and places. We need some fresh news!

Knowslilttle: Was the pic you took today who you thogught it was. I can't beleive that I didn't let you take the pic of your daughter to copy. I wouldn't have cared at all. Next time you can take them all and let her see them and copy what you want.

Sunshine- I know afew of those people. I think Billy Baker was Carrie Baker's brother, Carl Minton was a freiend of mine and my best friends boyfriend I think Steve Turner is married to Sondra Land, Jimmy Cundiff use to hang out at Dotties Restraunt,Larry Stephens married my good friend Carol Gregory, Sammie Bell, Casey and Macks brother, and Joe Burns I also knew from Dotties Restraunt. Maybe we met one another sometime back in the 60's. The other people you named, I dont remember.

What do you all think about a picnic maybe this summer. Surely there will be more to post on here by summer. Ive already been broadcasting to people I know about our Forum. Some are living out of town and hopefully will be getting on here, and afew are sick or recuperating from surgery. Word of mouth is a sure way of finding more that went to school at Ferguson. I realize there are lots of people that are just too busy with family and jobs and dont want to take the time to get on here.

It is time consuming especially if you become addicted like me. I think someone told me Sammy passed away. I really don't ever talk to anyone I went to school with and as far as I know none are on Topix. Altho I think most of them are retired.....if not they should be !LOL

    coach o:
thanks for the information i will check it out tomorrow. it sounds like a wonderful place for a vacation.

Sunshine--yes, the pic was who I thought it was. I showed it to his cousins tonight and they made a copy of it--they're going to show it to him the next time they see him.
Have you been out tonight? It was slick out there--must have been black ice. I slid at an intersection, so I was real cautious from then on out. The intersections in town looked like they had been treated. It may really be slick tomorrow.

I just finished watching the UK game, so I'll be on for the rest of the day (while I watch the Steelers and work on uploading the photos from yesterday's meeting). We do need to persuade the whole gang to move here. Nancy and I figure it will take about a week for the complete migration.

Coach- It was nice finally meeting you yesterday. I have tried to persuade some of the others to get over here too. I missed the UK game. I was resting. My dad told me Ky played another good game and beat Ga. Thats great.

If IRemember doesn't post for a few hours, it's because she's depressed. Her beloved Philadelphia Eagles are losing 14-3 in the NFL semifinals. There are only three football teams she ever cheers for : The Cowboys, the Steelers and the Eagles. She used to only cheer for the Cowboys and Eagles, but I convinced her the Steelers are the new America's Team. So unless the Eagles come back in the second half, you will all have to treat her very gently and offer condolences this evening when she returns to the forum.

Just exactly when did you become a " Foot Ball " fan ? I was hoping no one noticed that the Eagles were losing. Sure hope " Ferguson Proud " isn't watching. LOL!

I'll have you know I played quarterback from grades 4-12 and was a walk on quarterback at UK. Several members of my family are season ticket holders for the Steelers and will be there today. When I was growing up, in addition to the home games, we used to go up to Cleveland for the Steelers - Browns game every year. We also went up to Green Bay a few times. Lots of places think they're intense, but until you've been to home games at Pittsburgh and Green Bay you haven't seen intense. At Green Bay they have heaters under the seats, and the fans show up at dawn on game days to help shovel out the stadium. Steeler fans like to say it's not football weather until you can see the players' breath.

    Was There :
I AM a Pittsburgh fan. It's IRemember who was a Cowboys and Eagles fan (probably because she lived in those places). But now I'm converting her to a Steeler fan, so she'll have three teams to cheer for.

Uh-oh. Philly just scored. So they'll go into the fourth quarter down only 24-19. IRemember is so nervous she can hardly hold her cup of Earl Grey steady.

Oh, No! IRemember just threw her teacup against the wall and smashed it to pieces. Arizona just scored to go ahead 32-25. Things don't look good for her birds. So NOW we know where the stress is coming from that her doctor keeps asking her about.

Game over. (Gives her a hug, dries her tears, pats her on top of the head.) That's OK. Now, in the varsity game, she can cheer for the Steelers.
